Perhaps these women represent different things to different cultures. Or maybe not. If people in America can unironically compare Tom Delay to Jesus, then who's to say this isn't an apt comparison?

Obviously, she doesn't act like Mother Teresa, but you have to admit the resemblance is incredible.
